Originally from New York, I lived in London, reside in Los Angeles, and have a penchant for things international and global.
Since studying abroad in England, I have become a strong advocate for international programs in higher education to promote pro-social and cross-cultural understanding. I was a Research Scholar at the LSE and taught for two years at the USC Annenberg International Program in London. I also teach in the graduate program in communication management at the University of Hong Kong.
I am active in organizations dealing with global affairs including the Equitable Globalization Committee at the Pacific Council on International Policy.
Someday I will be fluent in Spanish. In the meantime, I study at places such as Escuela y Centro de Español en Latino América in Argentina and Centro de Estudios Para Extranjeros, University of Guadalajara, Mexico.
I have travelled to over 35 countries on 5 continents. Recently, I spent over a month in the People’s Republic of China - traveling from Hong Kong through Yunnan Province to Tibet.
